The 2014 has a very smooth texture with lots of red fruits, chocolate and mocha on the nose. Bright acid and tannin are well balanced with alcohol. We created a well-balanced wine that is smooth and has a long finish. We aged the wine over 20 months in 36% new French oak and 64% neutral French oak.
After bottling in July of 2016 we cellared the wine for a further 13 months, bringing the total aging to 33 months. The 290 cases were released in August of 2017.
