The 2014 has a very smooth texture with lots of red fruits, chocolate and mocha on the nose. Bright acid and tannin are well balanced with alcohol. Overall we believe we created a well-balanced wine with a good long lasting finish.
We aged the wine over 20 months in 36% new French oak and 64% neutral French oak. After bottling in July of 2016 we cellared the wine for a further 13 months, bringing the total aging to 33 months. The 290 cases were released in August of 2017. We produced our 2014 in accordance with vegan production procedures from our organically certified vineyard.
